i am thinking about getting a 2 year degree at the local tech for Web Development and Design Specialist is that good enough?
Should be good…most employers just want to see the degree. However, there are some that get a job without a degree because they can back up what they say they can do and provide examples. Some employers require you to "take a web design" test and code a small page with nothing but notepad and need to use php and sql.
