What’s appropriate job interview attire for a web design job at a university?
In my area, design and tech firms are generally casual attire kinds of places (I can wear slacks and a nice sweater or shirt and be fine for an interview). However, I’m interviewing at a local university for a position there. I’m in my mid-20s, so I don’t want to look too stuffy or pretentious. I should add that I’m female, but don’t dress particularly feminine, so a skirt and blazer is out of the question. I only own 1 suit, and it’s in the main color of the university, so I’m reluctant to wear it. Basically, should I be wearing a suit, slacks and a jacket, or just slacks and a business-casual shirt? Any help is appreciated.
i think slacks, suit and jacket is your best bet. you want to look professional, even if the place turns out to be more casual. once you get the job, you can wear what everyone else does. but right now, you want to look as professional as possible.

Is web developement included in Graphic Design?
I want to major in Graphic Design, does graphic design include web design or is web developement deifferent from that? I want to go to college in Florida please help me.
By definition, yes, they are different. But that doesn’t mean one person can’t play both roles. The school I attended taught me both. I am fully capable of writing my own HTML and CSS code, as well as designing the graphics and layouts too. In my opinion this is very common now days.
Each school is different in what they teach in their programs. You will have to find one that includes web design and/or web development. Web design will be more about what the web site looks like and web development will be about actually building a web site and writing code.

I suggest GIMP & Photo Editing Tutorials GIMP Tutorials and any other photo editing software you choose with the tutorials.
GIMP (with practice can emulate some of Photoshop ability with GIMP and it is free !!!)
